Mailing a care package? Here's how you should address mail to your Bard student.
- Via UPS or FexEx (packages over 20 pounds will be delivered to Shipping and Receiving and students will receive a note in their mail box to pick it up at their convenience)

Where do I stay when I visit my student at Bard?
There are a variety of local accommodations near Bard, and while we cannot endorse any in particular, here is a list of hotels that parents often frequent. Some will offer a Bard discount, so be sure to ask when you make your reservations. A full list is available here.
- Rhinebeck - a lovely walking village with great restaurants and wonderful shops; more expensive
- Rhinecliff - tiny town; steps away from train station
- Red Hook -four miles from campus; smaller than Rhinebeck
- Tivoli - the town Bard students like best and "hang out" in most often
